An exquisite pair of diamond drop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped with sterling silver, each stunning earring adorns a sparkling row of old Mine Cut diamonds. Resting at the base is the largest diamond, weighing 0.60ct each (1.20ctw between both earrings), dangling below a row of slightly smaller accent diamonds. The top stone is slighter larger than the accent diamonds and attaches to the original screw back earring post. Each diamond rests in a milgrained bezel setting, connecting together in an articulating fashion, lending fabulous movement that frames the face beautifully. The sparkling stones form a glittering line that collectively have a total overall approximate weight of 2.00ctw. Classically beautiful, these earrings look dazzling when worn and would be perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1" long, and are a little more than 1/8" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The screw back posts are secure and in good working condition.
