Victorian 14kt Diamond + Garnet Lion Stick Pin
A fabulous pin from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This wonderful piece is crafted in 10kt yellow gold and features the raised image of a fierce tigers head resting at the top of a stick pin. The die struck lion is wonderfully detailed with garnet cabochon eyes, bold, textured fur, and an open mouth in mid-roar. Clenched in between his ferocious pointed fangs is a single sparkling diamond in a 4-prong setting, perfectly completing the bold design. The pin is an exceptional piece for any stick pin collection and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The stick pin measures approximately 2 1/8" in total length. The lion's face measures slightly more than 1/2" wide, is 5/8 tall, and is approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the stick pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, including a couple very minor and unnoticeable indents, there is no serious damage to the gold setting and the diamond and garnets are all intact and securely set.
