Victorian 14kt French Cut Persian Turquoise Bypass Bangle Bracelet
A fabulous Persian turquoise bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful bangle is crafted in 14kt rose gold and features a stylish bypass design that intersects at the front. Resting at the center is a gorgeous rectangular shaped link, which is lined with vibrant calibrated turquoise stones. A delicate twisted rope pattern borders the link, which is framed by a feminine 3-dimensional flower motif on either side. Each end of the bangle is curved slightly outwards and the tips are embellished with a turquoise cabochon, beautifully completing the design. The turquoise exhibits a fabulous sky blue hue, a perfect combination with the smoothly polished rose gold band. The bangle is hinged on the side and fastens securely with a simple push clasp. Whether worn alone or paired with other pieces, this bracelet makes a gorgeous statement, and is perfect for the Victorian collector!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2" wide and 1 5/8" tall and would fit best on a small sized wrist. The rectangular link measures about 1/2" tall, and the band measures 1/8" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the turquoise stones are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
