Victorian 14kt Gold Painted Enamel Cherub Earrings
Lovely enameled cherub earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These delicate earrings are made of 14kt yellow gold and have a wonderful enameled portrait of a winged cherub in the center. The picture is hand painted on an enameled surface and has wonderful and intricate detail. The vibrant colored enameled cherub is deep in thought while gazing up at the heavens. They rest on a round disk which hangs from a gold earring wire. The earrings look wonderful on and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 1/8" long, are 7/8" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting or to the enameling.
