Victorian 14kt Large Natural Coral Cabochon Earrings
A beautiful pair of natural coral earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring displays an unusually large coral cabochon that hangs below a 14kt gold wire. The round cabochons are smoothly polished, displaying a wonderful salmon orange color marbled with subtle milky white inclusions. When worn, the design hangs nicely just below the ear, making a prominent statement! The flexible gold wires clasp in the back, adding additional security. A beautiful and colorful accessory, they merge effortlessly into modern fashion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/4" long (from the top of the wire to the base of the coral). The coral cabochons measure 3/4" in diameter, and are about 1/2" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no other apparent damage to the coral cabochons or to the gold wires, which are securely attached. The coral displays some natural inclusions and color variations, which is normal for genuine coral, and adds to its unique beauty.
