Victorian 14kt Mixed Metals + Carnelian "Horse Racing" Fob

SKU: 44697

$895

A wonderful fob from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this pendant displays a rich, sienna orange carnelian stone. The fob is double-sided, displaying a mixed metals horse race. The 3-dimensional rosy gold horse and its rider leap forward atop detailed grass, and a grandstand is engraved into the background. Beaded detail encircles the fob, topped with an embellished bar. A gold bail and ring rest at the top, allowing it to be worn on a favorite chain. This lovely fob is perfect for any equestrian!

Measurements: The fob hangs 1 3/8" long including the bail. It is nearly 15/16" in diameter and 5/16" thick at its deepest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The carnelian is free of chips and scratches. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
