Victorian 14kt Natural Pearl Dangling Earrings
Wonderful natural pearl earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring begins with a single pearl surmount, which has an 18kt yellow gold backing and is attached to gold earring wires. Dangling from the surmount is a smaller pearl that rests within a gold backing. Completing each earring is a long teardrop-shaped pearl which dangles from the bottom. This last pearl is attached to the earring by a gold cap. The natural pearls have a gorgeous shimmery color with a wonderful creamy tone and a high luster surface. These stunning earrings are in beautiful condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 3/4" long, measures 1/4" at its widest point, and has a depth of slightly less than 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the pearls or to the gold.
