Victorian 14kt Natural Salmon Coral Filigree Ring
A simply beautiful coral ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is made of rosy 14kt yellow gold and holds a natural coral cabochon at its center. The undyed coral has been smoothly polished into an elongated oval shape and displays a rich, wonderful salmon coral color. Four prongs hold the coral in place within a spectacular filigree setting. Swirls of flowing wire work with shapely cutouts cover the sides of the mounting, and a 3-dimensional design decorates the shoulders of the ring. The band is smooth and is stamped inside, thought the hallmark is no longer fully legible. A very feminine ring, it is perfect for any coral lover and looks gorgeous when worn!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25, but could be resized up or down if desired. The coral cabochon measures approximately 7/8" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the natural coral cabochon, which is secure and intact.
