Victorian 14kt Natural Sapphire & Diamond Ring 2.35ct
A breathtaking sapphire and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This incredible ring is made of 14kt yellow gold, and its beautiful design bears a close resemblance to the famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring worn by Princess Diana. At the center of the ring is an old Cushion Cut natural sapphire stone, weighing 2.35ctw. The sapphire, which is prong set, has gorgeous deep blue color and is framed by 13 old Rose Cut diamonds. These stones have G-H range color, I1-I3 clarity with a total weight of .40ctw. The simple gold band is smooth with the exception of a small ridged engraving accenting each shoulder of the ring. An absolutely beautiful ring, it's a very special piece that looks wonderful when worn. It's a beautiful ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the sapphire and diamond stones are all intact.
