A stunning and unique diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and adorns a beautiful old Cushion Mine Cut diamond resting at the center of a beautiful design. The prong set stone weighs approximately 0.51ct and exhibits H color and VS2 clarity, sparkling brilliantly in the light with every turn. The handmade mounting is simply lovely, and features bold carved detail at the center of an airline cutout and along the cathedral style shoulders. Additional feminine etching is visible along the sides, and the band is accented with a diamond shaped motif on either side, before it trails into a smoothly polished graduated finish at the back. A delicate and feminine piece with a traditional Victorian style, and looks simply stunning when worn and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75 but it could be resized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/8" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures about 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond stone is intact and securely set.
