Victorian 14kt Onyx Double Hoop Earrings
A fabulous pair of onyx hoop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The earrings are comprised of polished onyx links carved into two open hoops, one resting inside the other. A 14kt rosy gold loop attaches both hoops to the topper, allowing them to independently dangle and create wonderful movement. The topper is adorned with a large onyx bead attached to a simple gold earring wire at the top. The earrings frames the face beautifully and despite their length, they are lightweight and perfect for every day wear. These stunning Victorian earrings blend wonderfully into modern day fashion and would make a fabulous addition to any collection.
Measurements: Each earring hangs a little more than 2 1/8" long (including the wire at the top), and measures about 1" wide and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the onyx or gold setting. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
