Victorian 14kt Rose Gold & Persian Turquoise Festoon Necklace
A beautiful turquoise necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely and feminine piece is set in 14kt rose gold and is comprised of 19 round cabochon and 19 oval shaped turquoise stones. Each of the oval shaped stones dangle from the round turquoise stones in a festoon style. The turquoise is a brilliant blue color with natural mineral spider webbing throughout. A 14kt rose gold chain completes the necklace and clasps in the back. It's a wonderful piece that would look great worn day or night!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16.5" long. The turquoise pieces range slightly in size, however, on an average, the round stones measure 6.5mm in diameter and oval stones measure 1/2" long and 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the turquoise or to the gold setting or chain. The clasp (which is a modern clasp) is secure and in good working condition.
