A lovely pendant necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling-topped 14kt yellow gold, a luminescent blue moonstone rests within a collet setting. The moonstone exhibits incredible flashes of blue and grey, illuminated from within. A glinting Rose Cut diamond rests above it in a delicate pronged setting, and it hangs from a simple round bail. A 14kt yellow gold chain carries the pendant, secured by a spring ring and tab, both marked "14K". Perfect for a moonstone lover, this would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 20" in length. The pendant hangs 21/32" including the bail, and the moonstone's collet measures slightly more than 7/16" in diameter and about 1/4" deep overall.
Condition: The pendant necklace is in execllent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver and gold setting. The moonstone and diamond are both intact and securely set. The spring ring is secure and in good working condition.
