Victorian 14kt/Sterling Rose Cut Diamond "1840-1890" Memorial Bangle Bracelet
A wonderful diamond memorial bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous bangle is crafted in 14kt rose gold and sterling silver, and features delicate cutouts along the entire stacked open wirework design. Adorning the center is a beautiful set of diamond-lined years "1840-1890" written in a gorgeous boxy script. The dates, which would have been used to memorialize an individual, are adorned with old Rose Cut stones which are micro-prong set within sterling silver, creating a wonderful two-tone appeal. Two gorgeous etched leaf motifs flank the diamond design, and also decorate the back of the bangle, where an additional ornate motif rests at the center. The bracelet fastens with a push clasp at the side, where a gold safety chain provides additional security. This stunning memorial piece would look amazing worn alone or stacked with other bangles, making it a versatile and stylish addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The interior of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and 2" tall, and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. The surface of the bracelet measures approximately 3/8" wide and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasp and safety chain are secure and in good working condition.
