Victorian 14kt Turquoise + Diamond Ring 0.50ct
A unique and gorgeous turquoise and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this lovely piece adorns a vibrant natural turquoise stone at the center, framed by sparkling diamonds on all four sides. The oval-shaped stone is prong set and rests in an east-west setting, creating a striking look. A cluster of 3 diamonds adorns each shoulder, while two additional diamonds rest at the top and bottom of the center stone. The old Mine Cut stones weigh approximately 0.50ctw combined and exhibit H-I color range and VS-S1 clarity range. The sparkling diamonds catch the light beautifully with every turn, making the deep sky blue hue of the turquoise come alive. A smoothly polished yellow gold band wraps around the back, and stamped inside the shank is a small maker's mark. A spectacular ring, it would look exquisite worn on special occasions, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.75, but could easily be resized. The turquoise and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 5/8" wide, 3/8" tall, and rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The turquoise and diamonds are intact and securely set.
