Victorian 14kt Yellow Gold & Citrine Repousse Ring
A gorgeous citrine ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! At the center of this fabulous ring is a beautiful, rectangular shaped citrine stone with rounded corners. The stone, which is large in size, is bezel set in a 14kt yellow gold mounting which has an ornate repousse design surrounding the stone and along the shoulders of the gold band. The citrine stone has a deep, warm orange hue that looks beautiful against the vibrant yellow gold. On the inside of the ring is a small maker's mark and the stamped number "585". This fabulous ring could be worn by either a man or a woman and would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The citrine stone measures a little more than 1/2" wide and is approximately 5/8" tall. The ring has a finger size of 10.25 but could be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the citrine stone.
