An exquisite enameled emerald ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous 15kt gold ring features a stunning emerald cabochon, which weighs approximately 0.50ct with a striking dark green color. The emerald is bezel set with milgrain detailing lining the crest of the setting. Completing the design are black tracery enamel accents that decorate the sides of the setting in an elongated scrolling pattern. A gorgeous Victorian era piece, it looks outstanding in person and would make a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be re-sized. The diamond rests a little more than 2/5" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or the black tracery enamel. The emerald is intact and securely set.
