Victorian 15kt 3-Stone Diamond Enameled Cherubs Bangle Bracelet 1.35ctw
An absolutely wonderful diamond bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold, this relatively wide bangle holds 3 sparkling diamonds at the center of a decorative and romantic enameled design. Set within the front surface are two old Mine Cut Diamonds, which flank an old Mine Cushion Cut diamond in the center. The sparkling stones are prong set within a lovely etched starburst design and collectively have an overall total approximate weight of 1.35ctw. A beautiful hand painted image of two winged cherubs decorates the center, with their arms outstretched, appearing as if they are "holding" the center diamond. An enameled coating covers the image, showcasing their rosy pink bodies, teal blue and reddish wings and ribbons, and short, wavy brown hair. The vibrant gold bangle displays a smooth, matte surface, allowing the bright stones and romantic image to come alive. The bracelet is hinged on the side, at a push clasp and security chain for added safety. An absolutely stunning bracelet that blends seamlessly into modern day fashion, it would look fabulous worn alone or stacked with other similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and slightly little less than 2" tall, and would fit a small to medium sized wrist. The surface of the bangle is approximately 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold or to the enameled image. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasp and safety chain are secure and in good working condition.
