Victorian 15kt Diamond Buckle Earrings
A delightful pair of diamond buckle earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 15kt rosy yellow gold, each earring is oval in shape and has a stylish buckle motif that lies vertically across the surface of the earring. Each 3-dimensional buckle strap is decorated with two sparkling accent diamonds, adding a lovely eye-catching touch to the design. The earrings dangle with lovely movement from a smoothly polished beaded surmount with a simple earring wire at the top. Despite their size and appearance, the hollow earrings are lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear. A wonderful pair of Victorian earrings that blend seamlessly into modern day fashion, they make a stylish statement and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the wire at the top), measures a little less than 1" wide, and is 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
