Victorian 15kt Etruscan Pearl Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful Etruscan pearl bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold, this hinged bangle has fine Etruscan wirework surrounding a lovely pearl lined motif on its front. A raised floral motif rests at the center, which is encircled by a gorgeous natural pearl border. Flanked on either side are two raised box settings lined with additional natural pearls. The pearls display a gorgeous shimmery color with a wonderful creamy tone and a high luster surface. Completing the elaborate design are applied Etruscan beadwork and twisted rope wirework accents that add further dimension and texture to the surface. The hinged bracelet fastens with a double push clasp at the side. When worn, it makes a spectacular statement that is as rich in history as it is in appearance!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. The surface measures about 3/4" wide and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is some minor surface wear, including a tiny indent on the back of the bracelet, however it is not noticeable when worn. The push clasp is in good working order. There is some natural patina present on the gold surface, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry, and adds to its natural beauty and character.
