Victorian 15kt Natural Ruby & Diamond Weaved Buckle Bracelet

SKU: 41098

An absolutely outstanding gold bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This incredible 3-dimensional piece is crafted in vibrant 15kt yellow gold, and is quite substantial in both size and appearance. A large double buckle-like design rests at the center, incorporating weaved panels which entwine withing the open figure eight shape, and seamlessly become the band of the bracelet. Six luscious natural Burmese rubies are set within the face of the buckle as well as four old Cushion Mine Cut diamonds. The stones are all oval in shape and bezel set, giving this already stunning piece a rich pop of color. The band of the bracelet is comprised of several hinged panel links which fasten at a push clasp that is disguised within the band. A flowing, ornate etched design covers the entire surface of the gold bracelet, perfectly completing the jaw-dropping look of the piece, and when worn, the panels fit together so perfectly, the bracelet has the appearance of a bangle. This exceptional handmade piece is truly a work of art and perfect for the antique jewelry lover. It's a spectacular bracelet and would make an impressive statement piece to any collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximate 7.25" in length. The weaved buckle centerpiece measures approximately 1 1/4" wide, 1 1/2" tall and has a depth of 1/2". The gold band measures 7/8" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the clasp fastens easily and stays securely closed. All of the hinged panels are secure and in good working condition and all of the diamonds and rubies are intact.
