An exquisite moonstone and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in sterling silver topped 18k yellow gold, the silvery-grey moonstone brilliant center is surrounded by a halo of old Rose Cut diamonds, each one catching the light brilliantly with every turn. The gallery of the ring allows for light to flood each stone and features a swagged-spray motif, classic for the victorian era inspired by roman + grecian design. A gorgeous Victorian piece, it looks fabulous when worn and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be resized. The moonstone and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" in diameter and rests a little more than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. The moonstone cabochon and diamonds are all intact and securely set. You may notice a rattle from the moonstone shifting in its bezel setting, however we can confirm the cabochon is secure.
