Victorian 14kt Burmese Ruby Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring
A gorgeous ruby and diamond ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Made of 14kt rosy yellow gold, the ring holds a natural oval cut Burmese ruby at the center, surrounded by 14 sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds. The ruby weighs 1.51ct and displays a rich, luscious color that looks stunning paired with the diamonds. Set at each shoulder of the ring is an additional old Rose Cut diamond, creating a beautiful accent to the centerpiece. Stamped on the outside of the shank are a few small symbols that appear to be a Russian hallmarks, including two portrait heads and the number "56". Included with the purchase of the ring is an official AGL Prestige Gemstone Report issued in February 2015 that accompanies the Burma ruby stone. Beautiful and delicate, this lovely Victorian piece would make a spectacular gemstone engagement ring or special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the ruby and diamond stones are all intact.
