Victorian 18kt Diamond Crescent Moon Earrings 2.00ctw
A stunning pair of crescent moon earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! These striking earrings are crafted in rich 14kt yellow gold, and display whimsical crescent moons that hang freely with a left and right earring design. A graduated row of old Mine Cut diamonds lines the surface of each crescent, delivering a beautiful sparkle as they catch the light. The moon-shaped links hang from an old Mine Cut diamond surmount which is attached to a simple earring wire, the perfect finishing touch. Collectively, the earrings have combined carat weight of approximately 2.00ctw, displaying H-J color range and VS-SI clarity range. A delicate shooting arrow lies between each diamond, graduating in size alongside the diamonds, and a gold beadwork design lines the outer side of each crescent. When worn, the earrings dangle with lovely movement, perfectly framing the face. Both enchanting and bold, these celestial-inspired earrings would look equally beautiful worn day or night!
Measurements: The earrings hang a little more than 1 1/4" in total length, including the wires. Each crescent moon measures just under 3/4" tall and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
