A fabulous gold nugget bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted of a combination of 18kt yellow gold and genuine gold nuggets, this unique piece would have most likely been a collectible souvenir from the Californian or Alaskan Gold Rushes. With four strands in all, the chains are each comprised of sections of linked gold nuggets which alternate with open, rectangular spacers adorned with textured nugget swirls and round accents. Due to their natural formation, each gold nugget is uniquely shaped and varies slightly in size, connecting by round and oval links. An oval-shaped push clasp, decorated with textured darts and lovely engraving, fastens the piece. A short safety chain connects to each side of the push clasp, further securing the bracelet. It is a versatile and beautifully hand-crafted piece, and would look lovely worn alone or layered with other fashionable bracelets!
Measurements: The entire length of the bracelet measures about 7.25" long. The bracelet measures approximately 7/8" at its widest.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold nuggets or gold links. The push clasp and chain are secure and in good working order.
