Victorian 18kt Gold Enameled Double Love Knot Bracelet
A stunning love knot bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and features an intricate double love knot at its center. The surface of the love knot has a beautiful robin's egg blue enamel design with delicate white accents. On both sides of the double love knot is an 18kt yellow gold fox tail link chain, which connects at a clasp on the underside. On the back of the love knots is the engraved date "1892" representing its date of origin, and on the inside of the clasp is the engraving "S.E.W. FROM E.M.R.T.". It's a wonderful and romantic piece and would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: When closed, the opening on the bracelet where your wrist would lay has an approximate diameter of 2 1/4". The double love knot measures 2" long, a little less than 1/2" at the widest point and 1/4" thick. The chain is 3/16" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain or to the enamel work and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
