Victorian 18kt Ruby + Diamond 3-Stone Ring
A beautiful ruby and diamond 3-stone ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this gorgeous piece adorns 3 stunning gemstones that decorate the front surface. A sparkling Transitional Round Cut diamond rests at the center, weighing approximately 0.10ct, while two faceted rubies rest on either side. The rubies weigh approximately 0.25ctw combined and provide a wonderful pop of raspberry red color that perfectly compliments the bright white diamond. Each prong set stone rests in an individual box setting, which together forms a fantastic geometric design. Finishing the look is a smoothly polished band that graduates slightly towards the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a maker's mark. This marvelous ring look gorgeous worn alone or paired with other complimentary rings!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures approximately 5/8" wide, 1/4" tall, and rests 1/16" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. All of the gemstones are intact and securely set. Due to the cut of the diamond, it is likely a replacement stone, however this is not noticeable when worn and does not detract from the overall beauty of the ring.
