A gorgeous pair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18kt gold and topped in sterling silver, each earring displays a glittering Rose diamond within an open-backed collet setting. The silver's natural patina looks lovely against the yellow gold setting and the diamonds' bright sparkle. Collectively, the diamonds have an overall carat weight of approximately 0.70ctw. The earrings are completed and secured by gold wires marked with a French horse head with backings. This pair of earrings would make for a beautiful addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang about 11/16" (including the earring wire) in total length. The design measures approximately 11/32" in diameter and slightly more than 21/32" in depth.
Condition: The earrings are in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver and gold setting. The diamonds are both intact and securely set. The earring wires and hinges are secure and in good working condition.
