A fantastic chunky watch chain necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 9kt rose gold and comprised of long, interlocking double bar links which alternate with sections of ornate chain. The surface of the large links as well as a portion of the interspersed sections of chain have a rich textured crisscross design and the small connector rings adorn a faceted appearance. The chain clasps in the back at two swivel clasps and hanging from the center is a smoothly polished barbell and chain extension. Whether worn alone, or paired with a favorite pendant or locket, the design offers wonderful versatility and makes a bold statement. Stamped on both clasps and along the barbell, is "9C." When worn, the necklace rests prominently at the collar of the neckline, making it a stylish statement piece.
