A beautiful enameled Austrian necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This festoon-style design features three delicate pendants that hang from a 14kt gold chain. Each enamel pendant is intricately detailed, depicting a sweet cherub that stands at the foreground of a lush mountainous setting. The soft, hand-painted pastel colors are surrounded by a gold and royal blue enameled border. The chain meets at a simple spring ring clasp in the back, stamped "B.B" on one side and "14K" on the other. A beautiful and charming Victorian piece, the necklace drapes beautifully at the neckline when worn. It would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 15.5" long. Each oval pendant measures approximately 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, or to the enameled and hand-painted details. The chain and spring ring clasp are secure and in good working condition.
