Victorian Dramatic 15kt/Sterling + Rose Cut Diamond Wirework Earrings
A gorgeous pair of ornate wirework diamond earrings from the early Victorian (ca1850) era! These fantastic earrings have a dramatic dangling design crafted in 15kt rose gold topped in sterling silver for a subtle two-tone effect. Each earring features 3 diamond encrusted links that dangle in a row from a flower-shaped topper. The links display beautiful curved wirework details creating delicate cutouts throughout, and decorating each piece are closed back old Rose Cut accent diamonds, each resting in a stylish pinched bezel setting. The links dangle with lovely movement, allowing the diamonds to catch the light with every turn. The complimentary topper adorns additional old Rose Cut diamonds, and attached at the top is a European back earring wire, which fastens in the front. The earrings frame the face beautifully and make a fabulous statement piece when worn, perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 3 1/2" long (including the wire at the top), and measures 1 1/8" wide and around 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rose gold and sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasped earring wires are secure and in good working order.
