Victorian Etruscan Gold-Filled Sterling + Paste Bangle Bracelet
A lovely wide bangle bracelet from the Early Victorian (ca1860s) era! This gold-filled bangle has a beautiful Etruscan style design. Three paste stones rest in square-shaped settings across the center of the bracelet. Silver-topped rows line the bracelet, adorned by Pinchbeck Etruscan detail and a silver six-pointed star that appears to be split across the design. Spherical details line the edges of the top half of the bracelet, and the underside of the bracelet is smoothly polished. The bracelet secures at a double-sided push clasp, and the bracelet is marked "E. ATKINS PATENT" twice. This bracelet would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/2" wide and 2" tall. The bangle is about 1 1/8" wide.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good antique condition. There is a small portion of the Etruscan detail missing from the edge of the bracelet, but this is not noticeable when worn and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. A safety chain was removed from the bracelet. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
