A beautiful French silver chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Extremely long in length, the necklace is comprised of filigree style silver links that alternate with small open links and textured silver loops. At the center of the chain is a jump clasp, which makes it easy to double or triple the chain. The wonderful design would look lovely with a complementary locket hanging from the center. A versatile everyday piece, it would make a stylish addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures 55" long. The elongated twisted links measure approximately 1/2" long each.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver links or to the clasp, which fastens securely and is in good working condition.
