A beautiful Etruscan gemstone bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gold-filled piece is comprised of oval-shaped links connected together to create a flexible design. The bracelet includes a combination of matte, Etruscan beadwork, and faux gemstone links, creating a wonderful variety of color and texture. The four links resting at the center are decorated with floral etchings and embellished with vibrant synthetic gemstones set at the center. The stones alternate in color and mimic real sapphires and rubies, exhibiting rich blue and red hues. All of the links have a puffy, button-like look and connect to each other by a pin hinge and connector rings. A hidden push clasp safely fastens the piece together at the back, and is seamlessly incorporated into the final link. A wonderful Etruscan bracelet, it would be beautiful worn alone or stacked with other bracelets!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4" long. Each individual link measures a little less than 1/2" tall, approximately 3/8" wide, and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold-filled setting. All of the synthetic stones are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
