A fantastic bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Five gently graduated garnet cabochons rest in raised bezel settings, embellished by gold-filled spherical accents. The garnets exhibit a lovely purple hue, glowing as the gold-filled setting reflects the light through the stones. The bangle's surface is otherwise smooth, and the bracelet hinges opens with a simple push clasp. Inside of the hinge is a hand-engraved "XII". A beautiful Victorian piece, this bangle looks gorgeous on its own or paired with matching bracelets!
Measurements: The inner circumference of the bracelet measures approximately 6.5". The surface measures 5/8" wide, slightly more than 1/8" deep. At the central garnet, the bracelet measures 3/8" deep.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good antique condition. There are minor pin-sized dents and a small area of the bracelet's edge is slightly abraded, but it is not noticeable when worn and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. The garnet cabochons are intact and securely set. The hinge and push clasp are secure and in good working condition.
