Victorian Gold-Filled "Industrial Style" Watch Chain 12"
A fantastic industrial style watch chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in yellow gold-fill, this stunning piece features bold industrial-style links that together form a fabulous watch chain. The piece is comprised of long rectangular double-sided links adorned with a coiled spring in the center and delicate cutouts on each end. Resting on either side are unique round links with additional delicate cutouts, surrounding by interlocking links, creating an eye-catching design. At each end of the chain is a watch swivel clasp (one stamped "M&B" and the other "1/10") that fastens the piece together. The design and length of the piece lends it to be a watch chain, or with the help of another complimentary chain, it could be a beautiful necklace and the clasps are perfect for adding a locket or pendant, if desired. Whether worn alone, or paired with a favorite chain or accessory, the design offers wonderful versatility and makes a unique statement piece!
Measurements: The chain measures approximately 12" long in total length. Each elongated link measures about 1" long, 1/4" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold-filled setting. The clasps fasten securely and are in good working condition.
