Victorian Gold Filled Flexible Snake Bracelet
A very stylish snake bracelet from the late Victorian (ca1900s) era! This fabulous gold filled piece portrays the shape of a long, slithering snake. The serpent's body is formed by a flexible snake chain, while the snake's head protrudes at the end and acts as the clasp of the bracelet. Measurement: The bracelet's design makes it suitable for a medium to large sized wrist. When fully extended the bracelet measures 8.5" long. The chain is 1/8" thick, and the snake's head measures 1/4" wide.
Condition: The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold filled setting, and all three paste stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
