Victorian 12kt Enamel Flower Crescent Pin

A beautiful and unusual crescent pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 12kt yellow gold, this gorgeous pin features a lovely enameled floral motif. The entire front surface of the crescent moon is adorned with delicate Forget Me Not flowers, which are raised and have a 3-dimensional look. The flowers are enameled in lovely pale hues including light blue, lavender, and white. At each tip of the crescent there are delicate green leaves that complete the floral design perfectly. On the back of the piece is a bar pin with a simple c-catch pin clasp. This feminine and unique piece has a wonderful look and displays excellent craftsmanship. It would make a very special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The crescent pin measures approximately 1 3/8" wide and tall, and is slightly less than 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the enameled surface. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
