A gorgeous madeira citrine ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this impressive piece is relatively large in size and design. Adorning the center is a stunning 7.00ct madeira citrine, which exhibits a rich, deep orange color that delivers a soft sparkle as the facets catch the light. Surrounding the oval-shaped stone is an elaborate carved setting, which is bursting with beautiful floral and leaf details. Resting at the top and bottom of the centerpiece is a bezel set garnet, adding a subtle pop of deep red color to the design. Additional carved flower motifs and curved vines decorate the entire band, which wraps around the back where a stamped "BN" makers mark seamlessly blends into the design. A remarkably artistic ring, it makes a striking statement piece when worn, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size scant 7.5, but can be re-sized. Although sizing is an option, the carved design which carries along the band may be affected slightly. The centerpiece measures approximately 1" long, 3/4" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2.5mm wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The madeira citrine and garnets are all intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the setting, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry, and adds further depth to the 3-dimensional accents within the design.
