Victorian Long Sterling Silver Turquoise Chain 50.5"
A wonderful turquoise chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This extra long necklace is crafted in sterling silver, and comprised of sections of chain that alternate with vibrant turquoise links. The natural turquoise stones have wonderful shades of blue and green, and are polished into a smooth, round cabochon shape. Each link is encased within a wide silver bezel, allowing a stone to show from both sides. The necklace fastens at a simple spring clasp in the back making it possible to double or triple the chain for a layered look, or to easily hang a complimentary pendant or locket if desired. Stamped on the clasp is a "STERLING" purity mark. A very versatile piece, this wonderful chain is perfect for everyday wear, and would delight any turquoise lover!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 50.5" long. The turquoise links measure about 4.5mm each in diameter, including the surrounding silver bezels.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver chain or clasp, which fastens securely and is in good working condition. The turquoise stones are all intact and securely set.
