Victorian Petite 14kt/Sterling Diamond Crescent Necklace 0.60ctw
A charming crescent necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece consists of a petite crescent moon pendant that hangs from a modern chain. The crescent is crafted in 14kt rose gold topped with sterling silver, forming a subtle two-tone appearance. Seven sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds adorn the surface of the crescent, sparkling beautifully as they catch the light and collectively, they weigh approximately 0.60ctw. Gorgeous filigree wirework embellishes the sides of the pendant, creating a wonderful cut out design. A modern sterling silver chain attaches to either side of the crescent and fastens at the back with a lobster clasp that is stamped "925" on one side. This celestial piece is both beautiful and feminine, and would make the perfect everyday piece!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" long including the pendant. The pendant measures a little under 1/2" tall, about 3/8" wide, and a little more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. The diamonds are intact and securely set and the lobster clasp is secure and in good working condition.
