Victorian Revival 14kt Diamond Ball Earrings
A gorgeous pair of Victorian Revival earrings from the Retro (ca1940) era! These beautiful earrings are crafted in 14kt yellow and white gold and display a simple but elegant 3-dimensional design. Hanging from each earring is a polished sphere accented by a sparkling old Rose Cut diamond. The single stone is set in a white gold diamond-shaped box setting and fabulous textured wirework decorates the sides and back of each ball, creating lovely cutouts that showcase the Victorian Revival design. The earrings hang from simple wires featuring hinged lever back clasps, which are stamped with a "14K" gold purity mark at the base. The earrings frame the face beautifully and dangle with lovely movement. They would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 7/8" long, including the wire at the top, and measure about 1/2" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow and white gold setting. The diamond is intact and securely set. The hinged wires are secure and in good condition.
