Victorian Rolled Gold Scalloped Wirework Hinged Bangle Bracelet
A stylish bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in rich rolled gold, this hinged bangle has a simple yet elegant design. Twisted rope wirework along the top and bottom of the front surface create a scalloped design framing a polished raised band at the center. The reverse side has a smoothly polished surface which perfectly completes the wonderful look. The bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side where a safety safety chain is present for added security. It would fit nicely on an average-sized wrist and looks simply stunning when worn. A striking Victorian piece, it would look wonderful worn alone or paired with other complementary bracelets!
Measurement: The surface of the bracelet measures approximately 1/2" wide and is a little more than 1/8" thick. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the rolled gold bracelet or to the raised details. The clasp and safety chain are snug and secure, and the hinge is in good working condition.
