A magnificent pair of earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, these earrings feature a six pointed star that holds a spherical onyx and Rose Cut diamonds in every point. Hanging from a small bail attached to the star is an incredible Pear-shaped onyx cabochon stone set in a flower motif basket with sparkling Rose Cut diamonds. The earrings are worn by simple wire, and they frame the face beautifully. An impressive pair of earrings, these would be a breathtaking addition to a Victorian collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long, and 3/8" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
