A fun and unique Vintage jade bracelet from the 1960s era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this bold piece features an alternating design of multi-colored jade and open Chinese characters. The colorful jade links are comprised of three curved bars, each ending in a polished gold cap. The jade varies in color, including milky lavender, two shades of green, burnt orange, and soft yellow, all displaying rich marbling throughout. The gold connecting links are rectangular in shape and each features an open wirework Chinese character framed by a gold border. A push clasp secures the bracelet alongside an additional figure-8 latch, the face disguised as one of the scripted connector links. The backside of the clasp reads "14K" and "585" while the push clasp is stamped with a makers' mark. A lovely example of jade jewelry, this bracelet's soft hues would be a perfect addition to any jade collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures a contoured 7 1/4" long. Each golden character link measures slightly taller than 9/16" and about 5/16" wide. The jade bar links measure about 5/8" tall, 1" long including their end caps.
Condition: The bracelet is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The jade bars are all free of chips and scratches. The push clasp and its figure-8 latch are secure and in good working condition.
