Vintage 14kt Cat's Eye Moonstone + Diamond Cluster Ring
A gorgeous Vintage moonstone ring from the 1960s era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this beautiful piece features a gorgeous cat's eye moonstone at the center of a bold mounting. The large, prong set stone displays a strong cat's eye flash and a pearlescent soft gray color, providing an alluring and eye-catching appeal. Encircling the stone is a border of Full Cut diamonds, collectively weighing approximately 0.40ctw, catching the light beautifully with every turn. The diamonds rest in a prong setting, each one forming a triangular appearance, coming together to create a fabulous scalloped border design. The stunning centerpiece rests relatively high above the band and a fantastic wirework basket is visible from the back and sides. Finishing the design is a smoothly polished band that graduates slightly towards the back, and attached to the inside of the shank is a horseshoe collar to keep the ring from moving side to side, along with a "14K" stamp. A spectacular moonstone ring, it looks breathtaking when worn and would compliment any jewelry collection!
Measurements: At the current state with the horseshoe collar inside, the ring can accommodate a finger size 6, however, it could be resized. Additionally, the collar could be removed if desired. The moonstone and diamond cluster measures approximately 5/8" in diameter, and rests 1/2" above the finger when worn. The band measures about 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The moonstone and diamonds are intact and securely set.
