A unique charm/pendant from the 1950s era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this double-sided piece depicts a man sitting atop a flying magic carpet. His facial features and outfit are beautifully detailed as he sits with his legs crossed and a wrapped headdress graces his head. The flying carpet displays detailed swirls and fringe decorated by green enamel and the carpet is bordered by red enameling. A simple bail extends from his turban attached to a larger gold ring, ready to hang from a complementary chain. This pendant is 3-dimensional on both sides, and would be a perfect addition to the collection of anyone who wants to see the world!
Measurements: The charm/pendant hangs approximately 1" long including the bail. The carpet measures 1 1/16" wide and the piece is nearly 1/4" at its thickest point.
Condition: The charm/pendant is in overall great condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enameling shows some age, however, this does not detract from the overall appearance. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
