Vintage 14kt Opal + Diamond Hinged Bangle Bracelet
A wonderful Vintage opal and diamond bracelet from the 1950s era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this fantastic piece is comprised of two rows of vibrant opal cabochons which are set along the surface of an open wirework bangle. The opals are round in shape and prong set, each displaying an incredibly colorful array of glowing hues and strong iridescent flashes. Set between the opals, running along the center of the bracelet, are subtle accent diamonds which are prong set in white gold. The back of the bangle displays a simple open wirework design that tapers slightly in the center and the piece is secured with a push clasp and a figure-eight latch that adds security to the piece. This bracelet would look beautiful worn during the day or at night and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet, where a wrist would fit, measures about 2 1/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures about 9/16" wide at the opal design and 5/8" deep. Each opal cabochon measures approximately 6-7mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the push clasp and safety latches are secure and in good working condition. The opals and diamonds are all intact and securely set.
