Vintage Platinum Marquise Diamond Eternity Band 5.00ctw
A stunning Vintage diamond eternity band from the 1960s era! Crafted in platinum, this unique ring features a mesmerizing row of Marquise Cut diamonds that subtly graduate in size towards the back. With 23 in total, each stone is held in a north-south v-prong setting and weigh approximately 5.00ctw combined. The diamonds exhibit H-J range color and SI1-SI2 range clarity, each one catching the light brilliantly with every turn. Attached to the inside of the shank is a horseshoe collar to keep the largest diamond at the center, preventing the ring from moving side to side. The band was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in November 2019 and has a stated retail replacement value of $18,000.00. This beautiful design looks impressive on its own, but could be stacked with other complimentary bands if desired. A unique yet classic ring, it would make an exquisite wedding band or anniversary gift!
Measurements: At the current state with the horseshoe collar inside, the ring can accommodate a finger size 5.75-6, however, it could be resized slightly with the collar removed. The front of the graduated band, where the largest diamond rests, measures slightly more than 1/4" wide, while the back of the band measures slightly less than 1/4" wide. The band rests about 1/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
