Vintage 18kt Rubellite Tourmaline + Diamond Ballerina Ring 1.15ct center

SKU: 43684

A gorgeous Vintage rubellite tourmaline and diamond ring from the 1960s era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this bold piece features a Round Cut rubellite surrounded by a beautiful "ballerina" design. The center stone weighs approximately 1.15ct, displaying a wonderful deep cherry red hue that is sure to make a statement when worn. The rubellite rests in a high prong setting, emerging from a light-catching swirl of Baguette Cut diamonds. Marquis Cut diamonds add further motion to the spiral, enhancing the lovely appearance of a ballerina's tutu, and carrying onto the shoulders of the mounting. Collectively, the diamonds have an overall weight of approximately 1.30ctw, displaying color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS-SI range. A simple polished white gold band rests at the back, and is stamped with a "18K" gold purity mark along the inside shank. The high prong setting of the design gives the ring a stunning and unique look from every angle! A wonderful vintage piece, it would be a perfect addition to any collection, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 with interior sizing balls but could be easily re-sized. The diamond centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 1" wide, and rests approximately 3/8" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The rubellite and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
