A gorgeous Vintage rubellite tourmaline and diamond ring from the 1960s era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this bold piece features a Round Cut rubellite surrounded by a beautiful "ballerina" design. The center stone weighs approximately 1.15ct, displaying a wonderful deep cherry red hue that is sure to make a statement when worn. The rubellite rests in a high prong setting, emerging from a light-catching swirl of Baguette Cut diamonds. Marquis Cut diamonds add further motion to the spiral, enhancing the lovely appearance of a ballerina's tutu, and carrying onto the shoulders of the mounting. Collectively, the diamonds have an overall weight of approximately 1.30ctw, displaying color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS-SI range. A simple polished white gold band rests at the back, and is stamped with a "18K" gold purity mark along the inside shank. The high prong setting of the design gives the ring a stunning and unique look from every angle! A wonderful vintage piece, it would be a perfect addition to any collection, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!
